Design That Speaks Volumes: RBTL by Mitchell Garman
Architecture and commercial interiors photography for Mitchell Garman Architects
When retail design meets storytelling, the result is a space like Read Between The Lines (RBTL) in Plano, TX—where every material choice and design detail invites you to linger longer. Designed by Mitchell Garman Architects, this shop seamlessly blends industrial elements with playful sophistication.
From the iconic emerald green tile wall to the clean black-and-white palette, each vignette is crafted to elevate the retail experience while maintaining a cozy, curated feel. Soaring ceilings and layered shelving systems not only create visual interest but also maximize product display without clutter.
Through our lens, we captured the careful balance of warmth and structure: the brass hardware, natural wood tones, and the soft glow of modern pendant lighting all contribute to a space that feels both highly intentional and effortlessly welcoming.
This was a project where architecture and interiors serve as more than a backdrop—they become an active part of the brand narrative. The custom millwork, statement lighting, and branding details like the neon “pick me up” signage are a photographer’s dream: graphic, clean, and full of texture.
RBTL is proof that good design isn't just seen—it’s felt.
